Hypnotherapy is about helping you look inwards, to help you achieve your goals.
The therapist gains an understanding of you and what you want to achieve before the guided relaxation begins. Then you relax as the therapist guides you to connect with your emotions and imagination to achieve the results you want.
Hypnotherapy is a powerful way to:
- Relax, de-stress, focus on goals, boost confidence and increase motivation. Connecting your imagination and emotions strongly with future goals can greatly increase your motivation and ability to achieve them.
- If any emotional blockages are holding you back, therapy will help find them and clear them out enabling you to move on.
Are irrational moods or behaviours affecting your life? Eg:
- You want to lose weight but continue to eat unhealthily.
- You want to feel happy yet continue to feel depressed.
If will power and rational thought are not enough to resolve the issue, there are probably emotional reasons at play that you’re not aware of consciously.
By connecting with your emotions under hypnosis, it’s possible to release any negative emotions surprisingly quickly, freeing you from their unconscious influence. Any negative emotions that arise are felt fully only for a few seconds until they are naturally and permanently released.
Many people spend their lives suppressing negative emotions because they fear what will happen if they allow themselves to fully feel them. They fear “unraveling”. There is nothing to fear from your emotions. It's much quicker and easier than you may think to release emotions, and move to a more positive future. During therapy, you are in control. You are safe. Sessions are carefully managed so that you take it at your own pace. The results can truly be life-changing.
